Pastoral Care
If you wish to speak with a pastor, you are invited to contact the church office or contact the pastor directly via email. We continue to pray for each member and their families.
Pastoral care happens throughout our lives. You may have a need such as requesting a visit while in the hospital, care center, school, at home, or at work. For specific needs including baptisms, Holy Communion, weddings, and funerals, it is best to contact the church office to schedule a conversation with one of our pastors. See information below.
Please note: Because of hospital privacy laws and guidelines, pastors are not notified when members of the congregation are admitted. A patient may request a nurse, social worker, or call the office directly to reach a pastor to schedule a conversation with one of the pastors.
Emergency Health and Well-Being, please dial 911 or 988.
MATTHEW 22:36-40 THE MESSAGE (MSG)
34-36 When the Pharisees heard how he had bested the Sadducees, they gathered their forces for an assault. One of their religion scholars spoke for them, posing a question they hoped would show him up: “Teacher, which command in God’s Law is the most important?”
37-40 Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.”
